Happy Finish, in collaboration with Southpaw crafted an amazing 3D Stereo, fully CGI VR experience for Honeywell Aerospace, which was demonstrated at the recent MEBA Show in Dubai to demonstrate their cutting edge Cockpit and Cabin technology. The experience is made of 3 scenes:
The Rest scene is the starting point of the experience, and allows the user to wear the headset comfortably and settle down into a VR experience. We also use this section to introduce the user to the user interaction method we devised. Its pretty intuitive the user simply user a Head Up Display (HUD) target to select hotspots in the experience.
The viewer used this hot spot selection technique to select whether they wish to enter either the cockpit or the cabin. Across each of the two main environments there are 11 other hot spots, that on selection play out a story that brings to life the benefit of one of Honeywell s technologies.
The response from users has to date been overwhelming, and we are now working on new VR solutions for Honeywell and other clients that help convey products in a way that involved users, placing them at the centre of a 360 world of our making.
