Happy Finish artist Stefano Cherubini retouched these images shot by Andy Glass for McCann London.
Stefano explains: “There was a lot of initial build for this image, the shot of the car park not being particularly clean with puddles, pipes and generally grime and clutter. Once this had been simplified I set about tackling the retouch for the car which had to be really natural but super slick, showing off it’s form to the fullest. Naturally there was a lot of work in creating the brush strokes of the car, taking care to make this look believably paint like and consistent with oil paint texture.”
Finally, the overall colour grade was a process of adding drama in the sky, colour interest to the neutral car park and a high degree of vividness and punch. “Not particularly easy with it being a dull, November overcast day”, adds Stefano.
