
In the last week you've probably seen Airbnb cover-wrap the Metro and take over the homepages of MailOnline and Metro.co.uk as winner of a competition giving it the chance to reach 30.6 million people. The images, photographed by Tim Barber, were expertly retouched by Happy Finish artist Rob Dewey leading up to its launch around London, Paris, Amsterdam and Dublin this November. Having invited its media agencies to pitch for the chance to take over all three platforms on one day, Metro picked Starcom Mediavest's Airbnb entry as the winner, from over 150 entries. The campaign makes the most of the current cross-sell opportunities with Metro and Mail Brands UK, allowing advertisers a potential reach of 30.6 million people.
