We are very proud to have been part of the team working on the recent campaign Breast Cancer Care with agency, MC Saatchi and photographer Julia Fullerton Batten. The print advert, Support for Woman behind the Cancer retouched by Emma Jacob is out now, running as an outdoor campaign in line with an audio visual campaign being shown at cinemas nationwide.
This striking image shows a woman with a mastectomy scar covered in pills to present a striking message that behind every breast cancer diagnosis is a real woman with emotional and practical support needs.
Emma Jacob, the retoucher on the project explains a little more about what the retouch required. In the retouching stage we finessed the lines of the model made pills, sometimes moving or adding where needed.
Working closely with Julia and the team at MC Saatchi motion was also achieved by adding pills falling from the body. This is a great awareness campaign and I am very happy to have been part of the team working on this project. It is also great to see support for this campaign and acknowledgement of the fantastic visuals from great sources such as L rtzers Archive. It s always great to have our work featured and we d love to hear your thoughts on the campaign as well!
