Happy Finish collaborated with Portland Advertising Agency North to create the artwork for Columbia Sportswear's Cougar campaign featuring the Iconic Pacific Northwest outdoor brand's Chairman, Gert Boyle.
Combining elements from stock and studio photography, as well as bespoke on-location shots at high elevation on the glaciered slopes of Oregon s Mt. Hood, Happy Finish activated the original creative concepts of North to put Gert and her 'pet' in the harsh alpine environments that the Pacific Northwest is known for. The cooperative effort between HF and North successfully communicates Columbia s playful ruggedness and product quality.
Columbia s Cougars greet travelers in the Portland International Airport starting Oct 10th, as seen in one of the images to the right, along with images from the print campaign and a gif breakdown of the imager build up that highlights the intricacy and skill involved in bringing such images to life. All in all a great project for our Portland studio to be involved in.
