Being pioneers at the cutting edge of creative tech, the demand and success of Happy Finish interactive services continues to grow. We d like to welcome our latest team member to the Happy Finish family, Ed O Brien, who joins as Interactive Business Development Manager.

Ed began his career as a camera assistant across film and TV before moving quickly into videography to produce campaign films and educational content including a world first, entirely online masters degree programme for UCL.

Ed moved to Copenhagen in 2009 to take an M.Sc in Management Of Innovation & Business Development and on graduating joined Ghost VFX working exclusively on feature films from the UK and U.S.

From there Ed joined Bandit, a niche ad agency owned by McCann, where he ran a video production unit producing informative, interview-based content for clients with the opportunity to develop talks on the current and future possibilities of VR for brands. This was an initiative sparked by Ed s long-standing enthusiasm for virtual reality technology.

"We're really pleased to welcome Ed to the team, and are certain that he's going to be another key player in our growing Interactive department. Ed will no doubt be a valuable addition and we look forward to working with him during what we feel is an extremely exciting period for the virtual and augmented reality markets", adds Daniel Cheetham, Happy Finish Head Of Interactive.

VR has inspired me like no other area I ve worked in, and I m striving to develop a broad skill-set and overview of the field while promoting it to those who can benefit from it the most. My ultimate goal is to maximise the exposure and uptake of a world changing technology, says Ed.

He adds, I've worked in diverse areas within the creative industry, but all the work I ve done is united in that I ve always been able to collaborate on high quality content and deliver on new and exciting platforms. I've joined Happy Finish for that reason, and I'm looking forward to being able to contribute to establishing us as one of the heavyweights in the field of VR over the months and years to come.
