
Srikant Nayak joins the Happy Finish team in Mumbai as its new Interactive Art Director, to play a crucial role in driving forward our Interactive business across India. With continued growth in the Indian market, and ongoing expansion of our Mumbai studio, these are exciting times for the Virtual and Augmented reality sectors.
Srikant has a natural penchant for technology and new age media, having previously worked within the app and UI design space prior to joining Happy Finish. His appointment will add tremendous value to the emerging Interactive business currently seen in India.
"Following our recent partnership with Kyoorius/Melt 2015, which saw Happy Finish deliver workshops and keynote speeches about VR and AR. At our exhibition stand visitors experienced our work and enjoyed our new VR Cricket project, since which we have seen a significant growth in demand for our Interactive services. Often, the enquiries we receive for these new experiences require creative as well as technical development. This is why we sought to recruit a highly skilled Art Director, who has strong storytelling skills and a keen understanding of the latest technologies and services", says Happy Finish India COO Ashish Limaye.
Srikant's experience stretches across the online media and ad tech industries, after graduating from Mumbai University before starting his career at Madison Public Relations. From here, he expanded his interest to print and outdoor media while learning the ropes of effective communication design before a move to MTV India to explore the world of digital.
Fueled by his love for the gaming ecosystem and web technologies, this led him to work as Creative Strategist at BC Web Wise, a Mumbai-based digital advertising & media agency. During this time, Srikant immersed himself in crafting web campaigns for brands including Hindustan Unilever Limited, Heinz, Toyota Lexus and Virgin Mobile. This work included social media, rich media ads, websites, web-based games, video blogs, SEO and SEM.
From here Srikant moved into web and mobile advertising technology at ZEDO Inc. as part of the Product Management team, where he gained further experience across an array of interconnected interests including the ad tech ecosystem, UX design, and information architecture.
