This month saw the opening of 12 Details, an exhibition held at the AOP gallery on Leonard Street as part of the celebration of British Design Week.
Happy Finish retoucher Fay Walker teamed up with critically acclaimed art photographer Jim Naughten and the London based watch designers, Patrick Bek & Oliver Fowles, from Uniform Wares to retouch the 12 portraits in the exhibition.
The series focuses on individuals from different professions who have the same love and dedication to minute detail. Photographed by Naughten, the final portraits were retouched by Happy Finish retoucher Fay Walker who helped accentuate the crisp aesthics.
Fay explains a bit more about the retouch, As a retoucher, attention to the smallest detail is imperative for the final image to work as a whole. It was fantastic to collaborate with a team who had this same mindset and also support young British designers at the same time.
