Lifting our spirits this month is photographer Alan Powdrill with his brand new personal project, aptly named SHOCKER.
This humorous series in Alan's signature style, brings together stunning locations with quirky styling and an air of mystery to create a set of images that are mesmerizing to look at.
Represented retoucher Stefano Cherubini lent his talented hand to retouch the series and explains what went into the post-production stages.
"It was great to work with Alan Powdrill recently. We approached this set of images by sitting down together, and hashing out a plan and a visual style for the imagery. Whilst Alan wanted the grade to look a little quirky and offbeat, he was very conscious of these looking too twee as a result so wanted to ensure they were grounded in a sense of realism as well as looking visually interesting. Meticulous detail went into enhancing the lighting and mixed lighting was added to really make the colours pop!"
