Our Shanghai office is pleased to welcome to the Business Development team it's latest member, Laurel Yip.
Laurel graduated as BA in Art History from New Jersey, United States before moving into the adverting industry.
She began working as a Project/Marketing Manager for Dutch digital adverting agency Energize, and has since managed projects from Mercis BV (miffy), Dutch Consulate and Dr.Oetker, whilst growing strong relationships with industry media such as China Advertising, Madisonboom and Campaign Asia.
Laurel then moved into account management working for a photographic production house named Rimagine and managed brands including Walmart, Fissler, and Philips.
After obtaining a great amount of experience in project and account management, Laurel then felt a strong need to progress her career further and on a quiet evening reading her travel magazines, the first sentence of an article drew her attention:
Shanghai is like New York city one hundred years ago . "Little did I know that I would finally make my move to this city, and after 2 years I still love it"

As to laurel's personal interests, there's probably too much to list! "I love travelling, especially to the beach. I love languages, photography, and playing music instruments. (Even though I am not currently very good at them!). Networking is also a keen interest, and I love the feeling of meeting new people and making new friends. Oh, and I love party!"
