This time of year the heat is already turned up to 30 degrees or more in Shanghai, but that didn’t deter our retouchers from getting into full swing with the Christmas spirit for their first winter campaign of the year.
Happy Finish artists Alexis Goodwin and Zheng Heng worked with photographer Rune Bendiksen on this project, creating a visual that had all the elements required to bring out the Christmas mood while illustrating the essence of these three legends of the Norwegian entertainment industry: Elisabeth «Bettan» Andreassen, Tor Endresen and Øivind Blunck.
Happy Finish Producer Lucky Lu explains: “The talent and glass dome were shot in studio and combined with stock images to create this fantasy scene. By comping together several snowy pictures, we created a layered background world and added a path stretching over the hills to increase the sense of depth and give a narrative to the scene. Finally, we added snow and some magic fairy dust to give an extra bit of Christmas detail.”
