Retouching Richer Moments For Nescafe

With a regional campaign brewing for Nescafé's Gold Blend coffee, Happy Finish was approached to help create a series of intimate images which capture the richer moments of life. Our experienced retoucher, Stefano Cherubini, was fit for the task to create a seamless collection through the use of thorough colour grading and complex comping on this three image series. In order to deliver a unified look and feel for the set, Stefano aimed to design a stylised yet natural overall grade which would build the mood while not distracting from the distinctive crema of Nescafé.

Stefano gave further insight on the process, saying, "With all three shots there was an emphasis in keeping the lifestyle series natural, whilst also having a degree of stylisation and a common colour grade. The final grade strengthened the emotion conveyed in each image while drawing focus on Nescafé's signature drink. The end result was a warm, holistic collection that we were quite proud of."
