Retouching Katrina Kaif for Vogue India’s Cover

21 Jun 2016

Happy Finish artist Rob Dewey strikes again with this fantastic retouching work for the June edition of Vogue India. Featuring the amazing actress Katrina Kaif, photographer Luis Montero's brief was a sweet one: travel to the Philippines to photograph a sea-gipsy inspired story, using raw elements and whale sharks. What could be a better recipe for a great Vogue cover story?

Rob Dewey explains: “It’s always a pleasure to work with Luis and his fine photography. My role was to enhance the mood by way of colour treatment while, most importantly, maintaining Katrina’s natural beauty.”

For the locations, Rob added tone, detail, and depth to the water, sand, and skies. To compliment Katrina’s skin tone and garments he also added intensity to the magenta in the horizon. The result was this truly eye-catching visual treat, judge for yourself!
