Thunderbirds Are Go is back on UK screens, and ITV Creative commissioned Happy Finish to retouch the nine visuals for the campaign.
On these images, the five main brothers, Scott, Virgil, Alan, Gordon, John, as well as Kayo are portrayed individually and in a group including a new villain known as The Mechanic.
Chris Roome, Happy Finish artist, explains: “Creative Director Jason Ford did a fantastic job. The retouching work enhances the creative idea behind the computer generated characters and elements.”
With visuals based on historic campaigns, the retouching was executed to appeal to a younger audience, featuring lighter images, with sunset tones for the characters, and explosions where the new villain is looming over the top.
